ScotRai's new Desiro Class 380s are continuing to enter service, although not in large numbers. Here 3 Car 38000l leads 4 car 380101 with a Driver Training run from Glasgow Central to Ayr on Thuesday 20th January 2011. A destictive change to the Desiro design is notable here with the ScotRail 380s. The front end has been redesigned on the 380 and features an aerodynamic parkable connecting gangway. The gangway is moved to a vertical position to couple units together, but remains parked when in use.
