On the on 2nd January 2011, the Bo' ness and Kinneil Railway held an event to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Class 37. Providing heating for the event DRS Class 37/4 No. 37423 'Spirit of the Lakes' slows for the signal with the 1T01 Manuel - Bo' ness on the approach to its destination. WCRC Class 37/5 No. 37685 was on the rear.
