Built by C H Funkey and Co in South Africa the 350hp 'Vale of Ffestiniog' was obtained in 1993 from the Port Elizabeth Cement Co and after subsequent rebuilding to FR dimensions at Boston Lodge it appeared in is present pleasing form in 1998.Here standing in Harbour Station at Porthmadog on Boxing Day 2010. Classmate 'Castell Caernarfon' in original and much less pleasing appearance operates on the WHR.
