All is not well as LMS 'Royal Scot' No. 46115 Scots Guardsman joins the original Liverpool and Manchester Railway at Parkside Junction on 13th February 2010 heading a 'Cotton Mill Express' from Lancaster, which was scheduled to make two circuits of Lancashire. Unfortunately, the loco failed with a catastophic middle big end failure a few miles after this photograph was taken and the train was terminated.
