A most unusual visitor to Bridlington on Wednesday 15th June 1960 - LMS 6P 4-6-0 No. 45500 'Patriot', at that time allocated to Newton Heath shed, had just arrived with a set of empty stock for a holiday train the following Satruday. It is pictured here in the yard of Bridlington shed, only active at that time as a stabling point for visiting locos off holiday and excursion trains.
