Ffestinoig Railway double Fairlie locomotive 'David Lloyd Jones' built in 1992, runs down into Minffordd with a train from Blaenau Ffestiniog. Over the winter of 2010/2011 the track at this station is to be relayed in traditional bullhead rail with wooden keys, the loop will also be extended as a new bridge will be built for the Porthmadog by-pass to go under the railway near to where the last coach is.
