The locomotive works at Didcot Railway Centre sees work being undertaken on the cab of 29xx Saint Class Locomotive No. 2999 ‘Lady Of Legend’. Possibly better known locally as the ‘Lady Of The Knight’, the project will be enabled by the conversion of GWR Locomotive No. 4942 “Maindy Hallâ€, seen here in the background. Thanks must be given to the staff, who were generous with both their time and knowledge, on 23rd October 2010.
