South Austalia Railways T-class Garrett 4-8-2+2-8-4 no 409 inside the National Railway Museum of Australia, Port Adelaide, SA, on 9th June 2010. In 1951 an order was given to Beyer-Peacock of Manchester for ten of these large articulated locos. This order was subsequently sublet to their European associate, Societe Franco-Belge de Materiel des Chemins-de-Fer, of Raismes in France.
