The Spa Valley Railway held a Diesel Day on 16th October 2010. Class 73, No. E6047, 73140) awaits right away with the first train of the day. It disgraced itself when it failed and caught fire at Groombridge resulting in it having to be dragged back to Tunbridge Wells West later in the morning.
