Ex-LNER Gtresley Class D49/2 4-4-0 No. 62722 'Huntingdonshire', allocated at that time to Hull Dairycoates shed, acting as station pilot at Bridlington on Sunday 23rd August 1959. The extensive Bridlington South signalbox still remains but the signal gantry is no longer there.
