Two brand new 4-car DMUs depart from Bridlington with a service from Hull to Scarborough on Wednesday 30th July 1958. The units were built by the Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon Company and had just been delivered to Hull Botanic Gardens shed. The units did not at that time have unique numbers but the individual vehicles were numbered No. E50568, E59214, E59193 & E50547 with E50569 etc.
