The KWVR Diesel Gala, held over the weekend of June 11 - 13, gave a rare opportunity to see ELR-based locomotives operate on the other side of the Lancashire - Yorkshire border. An ELR takeover of Oxenhope seems to be imminent on July 13 as 37901 Mirrlees Pioneer waits its next duty while recently repainted Class 33/1 No. 33109 departs with the 11:35 service to Keighley.
