Stirring into life on a Monday morning are Carolina Piedmont Railroad GP38-2's no.'s 3881 and 3899. The location is the Carolina Piedmont yard (and CSX interchange point) in downtown Laurens, South Carolina. The locomotives are about to marshal that day's freight working that will serve a variety of industrial customers along the 34-mile line that runs to East Greenville, SC.
