23 May 2009 was Super Saturday on the GW&GC Joint Line with a record 188 trains scheduled between 07.00 and 22.00! In addition to the usual Chiltern and WSMR services there were Virgin diversions and WSMR operated three specials in connection with Shrewsbury's appearance at Wembley in the League 2 play off final. Chiltern supplied 168's for two of these and 168217 leads the first return train 1Z80 through High Wycombe.
