While most of the South East rail network ground to a halt on 2nd February following the worst snow falls in 18 years, 57006 had little trouble travelling from Wales to the North East with the 6E94 Cardiff Tidal-Stockton empty scrap train sometimes running ahead of schedule. The train is seen approaching it's destination at Eaglescliffe.
