Prototype "TRAKRAT" personnel and material carrier on trial at Carnforth. This could carry five persons and pull three trailers, all powered by hydraulics. I loaded this unit with around 15 tons of concrete sleepers in one trial to see if it would take the weight, it did and still attained around 12 mph.
