LMS Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 Nos. 45407 and 45231 at Appleby, with the latter taking on water, during the 1T57 'Fifteen Guinea Special' railtour on 10th August 2008. The crews of both locomotives were about to treat those on board to a memorable ascent to Ais Gill and Hellifield, where the train arrived some 25 minutes ahead of schedule.
