2417 passes Holmethorpe (Redhill) on the 8th July 2008 with the 5Z42 working from Ashford (Chart Leacon 18:00) to Brighton (Lovers Walk 21:09). This unit is sporting the new colour scheme for the additional (extended) Gatwick Express services from Victoria to Brighton runing as 10 cars during the morning and evening rush hours from December this year.
