The 16.50 Victoria to Horsham, lead by Class 455/8 No. 455803, calls at the newly-opened station, which plugs a decades-old gap between Mitcham Junction and Balham in south London. The station is a modular construction type and had been due to open for start of traffic on 2 June. In the event, the first train to call was at 16.09 that day.
