Class 55 Deltic No. D9009 Alycidon coasts through Green End on the downhill run to Grosmont, on 9th May 2008, during the North Yorkshire Moors Railway NYMR Diesel Gala 2008. At 3,300hp, the BR Type 5 Deltics were one of the most powerful diesel locomotives ever used in front line service in the UK.
