Unit 185DC enters the siding at the top of the zig zag between Akamizu and Tateno on the way out of the Aso volcanic caldera. The route to the left, which the train has just come down is from Akamizu. It will continue its' journey down the right hand track to Tateno where it will reverse again and continue to Kumamoto.
