A new animation video showing what is going on to improve the South West Trains network has been released, aiming to explain the work that is undergoing now and in the near future to provide extra space and improve reliability in order to provide better journeys for passengers.

The animation is the first of its kind to be published by SWT and is available online (and below) and will also be shown at stations and other passenger areas across the network. It is hoped that the video will provide a simple and easy guide to some of the projects currently going on to improve the railway, including plans to increase capacity at London Waterloo, new and refurbished trains and the continuing introduction of new technology to help passengers buy tickets, get information and stay connected while travelling.

The introduction of the video coincides with the publication of the latest SWT Passenger Newsletter, which is being distributed on trains, in stations and online at southwesttrains.co.uk.
