Following a successful first trial of increased services on Nottingham’s tramway system last weekend, further timetable tests are scheduled for 3rd August.

The trial follows on from an initial, but successful, ‘increased timetable test’ carried out on 27th July between Hucknall, Phoenix Park and the City Centre. It means that around double the number of trams will again be running every three to four minutes during the daytime.

The trial on 27th July was the first occasion that several of the new fleet of Citadis trams had been in passenger service, and passenger reaction is reported to have been positive.
