FIRST IEP VEHICLE OFFLOADED AT SOUTHAMPTON

The first of the pre-production IEP sets has arrived in Southampton, at the end of its long voyage from Japan.


The Class 800 set, which will commence testing on the East Coast Main Line in April, was offloaded in front of national and trade media at Southampton Docks on 12th March, and following various formalities will be moved by road to Old Dalby to commence testing in the coming weeks.
