During the past week, fare paying passengers have had the rare opportunity to pass through the confines of St Philips Marsh HSTD on normal service trains. In this view taken on 11th August 2021, n unidentified 'GWR' Class 255 HST set traverses the blue livered 'Albert Road' bridge while powering the 14:14 Bristol Parkway-Weston Super Mare service. This is one of a number of workings which have been routed through St Philips Marsh HSTD due to the part closure of Bristol Temple Meads in connection with ongoing track and signalling alterations at Bristol East junction.
