Northern Class 158 No. 158868 arrives at Hellifield on 22nd May 2021 with the 12.18 Leeds - Morecambe service. Stabled in the goods loop are WCRC Class 47s nos 47832 and 47813, the latter recently acquired from Rail Operations Group and still sporting the base blue livery of its former operator. The Class 47s had worked up to Hellifield as the 08:10 from Barrow Hill, and would later depart with the 19:15 railtour back to Leicester, having taken over from LNER class A1 60163 Tornado. The steam leg was from Barrow Hill to Carlisle, via the Tyne Valley and then to Hellifield along the Settle & Carlisle route.
