A final polish! Apply the finishing touches to Ex LMS Jubilee Class 45596, Bahamas at it prepares to run light engine to Alresford on the Mid Hants Line. There it will take charge of the first train from Alresford to Alton at 9:15 on 16th October the first day of the Autumn Steam Gala. This was the first visit south for Bahamas since 1967, and the first time it has visited another heritage railway (other than the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, since 1997.
