A scene from 1997 which is much changed in 2020. EWS Class 60 No. 60006 Scunthorpe Ironmaster in British Steel blue livery heads the 11.10 Immingham - Santon loaded iron ore tipplers through Barnetby on a hot 30th July 1997. Since the date of this image the signal box and semaphore signalling have been swept away by modernisation, the iron ore workings have been taken over by Freightliner and No. 60006 has the unenviable distinction of being the only Class 60 to have been scrapped.
