Entering service from Crewe DMD during August 1965 as Brush Type 4 No. D1856, becoming Class 47/0 No. 47206 under TOPS, she is seen at the fuel bay of Tinsley DMD Sheffield on 5th June 1988. Prominently displaying a Glasgow Eastfield DMD Terrier emblem on her bodyside she had in fact transferred to Tinsley during January 1988 after 14 years service at the Glasgow Depot. Converted to Class 57/6 No. 57605 "Totnes Castle" in September 2004 she is operated in 2020 by GWR predominately on their Night Sleeper services from London Paddington to Penzance.
