On 4th February 1998 EWS Class 37 No. 37426 departs from Birmingham New Street with the 10.07 Regional Railways service to Holyhead. Originally D6999 and the last of the 309 strong fleet to be built No. 37426 entered service in August 1965, was stored in 2004, transferred to, but never used by, DRS in 2011 and was scrapped in March 2013.
