A busy and unique never to be repeated scene at Doncaster on 3rd July 1988
Large crowds gather to see Class A4 Pacific 4468 Mallard depart with the 50th Anniversary special to York having arrived from London hauled by the unique Class 89 No. 89001 the top of which can be glimpsed in the adjacent bay platform. In addition Class 91 No. 91003 poses centre road with a view of new traction soon to be seen!!! with HST in the background along with 56105
