With some vintage cars in the background helping to date the photograph, Class 47 No. 47087 Cyclops arrives at Basingstoke on 15th August 1980 with a northbound cross country service. One of the batch of Western Region Class 47s that carried names almost from new No. 47087 became 47624 in 1984 and carried the name Saint Andrew. It was withdrawn in November 1998 and cut up in September 2006.
