Class 101 DMBS No. E51215 and DMCL No. 53162 approach Leeds station on a sunny 1st August 1988. Both were allocated to Leeds Neville TMD at this time with No. E51215 carrying the set number 04 under the drivers window in unusually large numerals. No. E53162 would be withdrawn just over a year after this image was taken and scrapped at the Vic Berry Yard in Leicester during May 1983 while No. 51215 would later transfer to the Western Region and survive in traffic until July 1993 before disposal by Gwent Demolition at their Margam Yard in South Wales during March 1994.
