Class 40 No. D200 and Class 20 No. D8000 approach Irwell Vale on 4th July 1998, while working a Rawtenstall - Bury service. Note that the 40 carries a headboard commemorating the life of recently deceased Dr John Coiley, the first head of the NRM at its York base.
