WCRC class 57s No. 57601 and 57313, the latter sporting a newly applied coat of umber and cream livery to match the coaching stock, stand at Carnforth on 29th September 2019 with the 10.36 Northern Belle excursion from Telford Central. The tour had suffered a forced rerouting away from its booked journey via Blackburn, Hellifield and the 'Little North Western' route by a mudslide blocking the line at Bentham and further problems were encountered when No. 57313 failed at Crewe necessitating a run round for No. 57601 and double heading from Crewe to Carnforth via the WCML, whereupon both locomotives were removed in favour of Class 47 No. 47804 and class 57 No. 57001 which handled the return journey to Shrewsbury.
