The rare sight of a Class 31 on the main line occurred on 18th April 2019 when Nemesis Rail's No. 31128 'Charybdis' took West Coast Railway's Class 47/7 No. 47760 on the 10:41 Carnforth to Burton-on-Trent light engine working, seen here approaching the destination.
