Ironic that NR have continued to blitz the lineside in the Kennet Valley having cleared through for electrification to Newbury, while further west leaving heavy freight trains to forge their way through thick vegetation on the climb to Savernake on increasingly greasy rails as autumn progresses. GBRf Class 66/7 No. 66758 blasts out from under the bridge on the severe curve by Crofton pumping station with the empties from Wellingborough to Whatley Quarry on 1st October 2018.
