Preserved Class 73 No. 73140 stands at the Spa Valley Railway's platform at Eridge station on 2nd 6th July 2018 with the 14.20 service to Tunbridge Wells West. Accompanying the 'ED' is preserved 3CIG No. 1497 Freshwater, recently arrived from the Mid Norfolk Railway for a five year stay on the line. The unit operated in full push-pull mode with the Class 73.
