Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad No. 490 was built as a Pacific locomotive by the American Locomotive Company in 1926, and the was one of 4 of this type to be modified in 1946 at the C&O Huntington shops as a Hudson type 4-6-4 and streamlined. No. 490 was used on Washington DC to Chicargo expresss trains and was withdrawn in 1953, and is seen at the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum, Baltimore, on 22nd June 2018.
