UK Railtours 'The York Moors Venturer' from Newport passes Colton South Junction on 21st April 2018 headed by GBRf Class 66/7 No. 66778 'Darius Cheskin' with Colas-liveried Class 47 No. 47749 'City of Truro' in tow. The Class 47 had failed at Old Hill, West Midlands causing disruption and cancellations to local services. The train was booked to go forward to Scarborough, however, due to a 218 minutes late arrival in York, was terminated.
