A King in his pomp: GWR King 4-6-0 6023 'King Edward II' romps up Eardington bank SVR with the 11:05 Kidderminster - Bridgnorth service on 16th March 2018 during the SVR Spring Steam Gala. 6023 seems to have retained the characteristically sharp exhaust of a single chimneyed King following changes to its draughting arrangement to accommodate reduced height chimney, safety valves and bonnet.
