Running over ten and a half hours late DRS Class 66/3 No. 66301 passes Stafford on 7th February 2018 with the previous days 19.06 Mossend to Daventry Tesco train which had left Scotland behind Class 88 No. 88006 but had failed en route and had to be rescued by the Class 66 for the remainder of the journey south. The class 88 was still on the rear of the train at this point and upon arrival at Daventry was removed and taken back to Crewe Gresty Bridge later that afternoon by the Class 66.
