In terms of passenger services, anything other than a Class 158 DMU is pretty scarce on the Yorkshire Coast Line these days but unit shortages and driver familiarisation mean there can be exceptions! On 5th July 2013 it was the case as Northern Rail Class 144 Pacer DMU No. 144013 gets ready to leave Driffield Station of what would have been the 19:08 Bridlington to Sheffield service, but was terminated at Google (as indicated on the destination blind) due to engineering works on this day.
