In unique LNER apple green livery, Class 47 No. 47522 Doncaster Enterprise stands at Aviemore on 9th July 2017 with the 10.10 departure for Glasgow Queen Street, the train having originated at Inverness. The locomotive had two serious accidents necessitating replacement cabs during its career but was repaired both times before finally being withdrawn in 1999 and scrapped in 2000.
