Arriva Trains Wales Class 150 Unit No. 150242 is pictured on 4th August 2017 near Llanrwst with a local service on the beautiful Conwy Valley Line. The train is passing a section of line that has recently had fresh ballast and flood defences laid due to the problems with flooding from the nearby Conwy River. A river that the line follows more or less all the way from LlandudNo. Jct to Betws-y-Coed, and in which the tidal effect goes as far as Llanrwst. The line now twists and turns around the flood plains and river before reaching Betws-y-Coed.
