English Electric Type 4 No. D213 'Andania' was delivered to the London Midland region of BR during May 1959. Named after the Cunard Line passenger and cargo ship 'Andania' in June 1962, this name had been removed long before she became Class 40 No. 40013 under TOPS in 1974. Withdrawn during January 1985 but kept by BR as an exhibition loco, she finally arrived at Vic Berry's Yard in Leicester for disposal on 11th May 1988. Subsequently purchased for preservation, many years of painstaking restoration finds her on display stabled outside Barrow Hill Roundhouse on 18th September 2011.
