Intercity-liveried Class 47 No. 47829 departs from Exeter St Davids on 21st August 1998 with the 08.40 Glasgow - Penzance cross country service. The locomotive became notable when it was repainted in Police livery later in its career which it retains up to its withdrawal in June 2008 and its scrapping in February 2013.
