Large Logo blue-liveried Class 47/4 No. 47664 approaches Platform 5 at Crewe Station from the north on 28th March 1989 with a mixed rake of Mark 1 and Mark 2 coaches in blue/grey and Inter City liveries. Allocated to Old Oak Common MPD when new in April 1964 as Type 4 No. D1727 she would complete nearly forty years service before being withdrawn during February 2004 as Class 47/7 No. 47784. She was later scrapped by Ron Hull Jnr in December 2007 at their yard in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
