Seen at Carnforth during August 1984, Advanced Passenger Train Class 370 No. 370001. The APT-P trains were quietly reintroduced into service in mid-1984 and proved to work well, the problems of passenger sea sickness having apparently been corrected. Lacking the political and managerial will to continue the project was eventually quietly dropped.
