Complete with white bodyside stripe and a Thornaby Kingfisher Depot Emblem Class 37/0 No. 37071 'British Steel Skinningrove' is stabled at Thornaby MPD on 23rd December 1986. Entering service from Thornaby in August 1962 as Type 3 No. D6771 she only carried her name from September 1985 to April 1987. Stored by EWS during April 1999 No. 37071 departed the UK that July for infrastructure duties in France returning home during October 2010. Subsequently stored at Wigan CRDC No. 37071 was sold for scrap in July 2005 being cut up by C F Booth at their Rotherham yard during October the same year.
